« Le peuple de Gaza vit assiégé depuis quatre ans. Après la fermeture de tous les accès depuis l’Égypte, les habitants ont été forcés de creuser des tunnels sous la ville frontalière de Rafah afin de permettre à leurs familles de survivre. Des centaines de personnes qui travaillaient dans ces tunnels ont été tuées par les raids aériens israéliens. Le Tunnel de la mort constitue un témoignage tragique de la peur que les foreurs de tunnels doivent affronter pour vivre. » (https://www.imarabe.org/)

Cet événement, qui se déroule à à Tiohtià:ke/ Montréal, est l’une des nombreuses initiatives de projections organisées par une coalition d’organismes et de collectifs culturels regroupés en soutien avec la Palestine et la lutte palestinienne pour la libération. Cette coalition comprend Regards Palestiniens Collective, Hors champ, Dhakira Collective, Feminist Media Studio, Zoom out, le Sémaphore, Cinema Politica, Main Film, Cinéma public et Palestiniens et juifs unis. L‘évènement vise à ramasser des fonds qui viendront en aide à Gaza. Nous vous invitons à verser un montant — nous suggérons un minimum de 15.00$ — à l’un des trois organismes suivants :

This film is part of the FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA: GAZA SOLIDARITY FUNDRAISER SCREENING program. This event is one of multiple solidarity fundraiser screenings in Tiohtià:ke/ Montréal organized by a coalition of cultural organizations and collectives coming together in solidarity with Palestine and the Palestinian struggle for liberation. This coalition includes Regards Palestiniens Collective, Hors champ, Dhakira Collective, Feminist Media Studio, Zoom out, le Sémaphore, Cinema Politica, Main Film, Cinéma public and Palestinian and Jewish Unity (PAJU).
