À la mi-janvier, le collectif occupant le cinéma associatif La Clef a reçu un avis d’expulsion leur ordonnant de quitter les lieux avant la fin du mois. Pour se prémunir au mieux contre l’intervention des CRS, La Clef, qui n’organisait jusqu’alors qu’une séance chaque soir, s’est mise à projeter plusieurs films par jour, dès 6h du matin. Ce festival permanent a tenu 5 semaines, jusqu’à l’expulsion du 1 mars. Le film a été tourné entre le 31 janvier et le 1 février pour rendre compte de cette effervescence, entre attente inquiète et démonstration de vitalité sans précédent. Il a été développé au laboratoire partagé L’Etna.

In mid-January, the collective occupying the community cinema La Clef received an eviction notice ordering them to leave the by the end of the month. In order to protect themselves against the intervention of the CRS, La Clef, which until then had only organized one screening each evening, started to show several films a day, starting at 6 am. This permanent festival lasted 5 weeks, until the expulsion on March 1st. The film was shot between January 31 and February 1 to capture this effervescence, between anxious expectation and demonstration of unprecedented vitality. It was developed in the communal laboratory L’Etna.
